I know my stats are not up to par with the majority of admits, but will applying to computer science increase my chances?

THANKS FOR YOUR HELP
if any other information would be helpful let me know

Applying to computer science will not increase your chances at all.

What grade are you currently in? Any major awards? It will be tough getting into Dartmouth without any major awards
