bumppp. anyone?

Dartmouth, Duke, Amherst, Williams, Penn, UF, Cornell

Dartmouth- Good shot
Duke- Good shot
Amherst- Very good shot
Williams- Very good shot
Penn- reach (it is with everyone though)
UF- not familiar
Cornell- same as Penn

Thanks, and for the record, UF is University of Florida.

If you can get your scores to at least the median (Dartmouth=730CR, 740M) at all but UF you'll be in the running, get them to the 75th percentile you will be a good candidate. Don't know UF.

Dartmouth- mid reach
Duke- low reach
Amherst- low reach
Williams- high match
Penn- mid reach
UF- no idea honestly- don’t know the school
Cornell- low reach

Your Ec’s a great, as is your GPA  Good Luck!!

I’m pretty sure you have a good shot at all of the schools you mentioned. Nice job with the AIME. Making USAMO would be great.

Darmouth: mid reach
Duke: mid reach
Amherst: low reach
Williams: low reach
Penn: high reach
Cornell: high reach
UF: match

Please chance me: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1065811-chances-mit-harvard-princeton-few-others.html

This may be the craziest thread ever with all believing Penn is harder to get into than dartmouth. It isn’t. And Amherst and Williams matches for a student with a 650 CR? Simply untrue.

OP, I think you need to substantially raise your CR score and also raise math for avshot at these schools other than UF. Good luck!

Bumping up a thread over two years old for the express purpose of promoting one’s own chances thread is probably the most annoying thing one can do.

Learn to read dates before posting…that also goes for the other posters who responded after the bump. I say this not only out of vexation but also as a warning; repeatedly bumping old threads, especially for advertising for another thread, is an offense for which posters can be banned.

As for the OP’s actual chances, most of them were/are reaches except UF. The record is very good but not exceptional, so the usual admit rate could’ve been expected – 10-15% at best.
