I will be applying to Dartmouth, Duke, UCLA, and Emory as complete reach schools. I was just wondering how possible is it to get in these schools? I know I have posted at least 3 of these chances posts, but i just want to know if anyone knows of someone who got in with stats as crappy as these...

Sorry I don't think any of these will come through...get a 2200 and Emory might be a reach ED.

yeah...thing is i cant apply early cuz i really want west point

I don't think you stand much of a chance at those schools

Your academics and ECs are lacking. If you're a minority and have killer essays you could, possibly, maybe, get in, but I would try to aim at some more realistic schools.

Of course, don't listen to what we say. College admissions is difficult to gauge. People with scores like yours and lower have gotten in, but you have to realize that they were anomalies.

Are the acceptance %'s deceiving? Cuz I mean something like 40% are accepted at Emory...yeah thats not very high but still its a large number

WoW4201:

Assuming you are a California resident,
UCLA: Reach

lol not to be rude but flopsy you have said this to me about 3 times now lol...Im just curious of the acceptance % as i said above

I'm sorry, I'm not good at remembering names.

haha i know i bet you help so many people and i do appreciate it alot :)

percentage at ucla? 4% IMO
