I’ll be at home when they release the decisions. I’m going to be going crazy waiting.
Anyone from Asia here?
The spongebob theme song has been running through my head whenever I think about Wednesday.
@collegegal17 yes, you still have a chance. I know many people never offered interviews and they got into Princeton and other ivies. As someone said before on this forum, interviews are only offered if alums are available in your area. Also, on their website, dartmouth confirms that if someone is not offered an interview, it will not affect their chances of being considered for admission.
@collegegal17 Dartmouth has one of the lowest interview rates among the Ivies – I believe it’s less than 20%. At tops is PTon with above 90%. I think then Penn and Yale ~70%
The thing that’s stressing me out the most is that I live in Southern California and I bet there’s multiple alums here
there are many alums in socal, but there are also so many applicants. not everyone does an interview, and it’s totally fine. an interview never makes or breaks an app
I’m so nervous the wait is killing me
@LikeAPanther SAME AGHHHHH!!! It’s 4AM here and still can’t go to sleep lol
Do any of you all’s Parent ED Agreement say “Downloaded”? Mine still says “Submitted”! :-/
@geisel1797 I’m fairly certain they don’t say ‘Downloaded’ until after decisions have been released.
@geisel1797 do you mean on the Common App?
On my Common App mine says “downloaded”
On the Application Checklist I still have a red ‘X’ with the word “Awaiting” next to my Early Decision Agreement
Does anyone have an Awaiting?
Did you ever talk to your guidance councilor? I remember she did something for the agreement with me
Are we going to get an official email from the admissions office about the release date? I know they announced it in the live stream, but does anyone know if they have sent an email in the past?
@mgb1311 I live in Washington State so it’all be he end of 5th period for me. I told my Calc BC teacher im gonna be wreck during that class and to not expect much in terms of participation haha
My counselor just said that there shouldn’t be an “Awaiting” next to my ED agreement (on the application tracker) but she also said it would be weird if that was missing because I already had my interview. I plan on calling Dartmouth tomorrow, not that it would help since they have already made decisions, but now I’m extremely anxious.
@Nereida417 If it’s been downloaded from Common App, I suspect it’s just a clerical error. They would most likely have contacted you if something were amiss.
Does anyone know how we actually check the application status on Wednesday? Right now theres no place for it on the page. Obviously nothing’s there now haha but i want to know if I know the right place to go on Wed
@mgb1311 there will be a thing on the portal that says something like “an update has been made to your application status”
