Dartmouth Early Decision Class of 2021

Anyone else a rower? I was just a little bit too slow to be recruited, but when i met the coach, he said there was no way I wouldn’t be able to walk on if i got admitted.

@dartagnaneb Same in FL, I’m an average runner, 18:21 PR.

@GiddyHiddy That’s just cool, too. Congratulations! (and I wont tell about the parties! ).

@Erikj28 Can you tell me how you started rowing? I want to get my little brother into a sport, so he can make friends and get healthy. He is nine, and has developed quite a stomach…but he has an interest in rowing. Should I find an organization nearby?

Also, I get home at around 3:30 because I am at the very end of the bus route for my school. So only 30 minutes of gut wrenching anticipation! Woo hoo!!!

@grandscheme No, trust me, I do not party. I am actually conservative (but you probably hear that alot). My parties consist of tea, tea biscuits, an unread book, and my cat on my shoulder as I, in my domain, partake in silent revelry.

@GiddyHiddy Follow this link to find clubs near you! http://www.usrowing.org/find-club/

Most clubs have a learn to row day in early June. The vast majority of clubs won’t be able to accommodate someone who is 9 years old, but Many have middle school programs. So i encourage you to find a club with a middle school program and have him sign up then. I started as a freshman though, so you can start at anytime!

I’m finding out during lunch tomorrow AHHHHH

Anyone have suggestions for what to do between getting out of school and 4?

@mindofbp average too, 17:45 pr

@Erikj28 Thanks pal, this will really help him in the long run. The kid is packing, so he might as well get swole while in middle school.

@Erikj28 And of course it happens to be in northern Milwaukee…lol. Welp, whatever floats his boat (pun will always be intended)

Just curious, who will all able to sleep tonight? I know it will probably take me ~3 hours to fall asleep… @-)

So, what is everyones intended major? I am looking at English or Comparative Literature, and Neuroscience

Economics, with either a CS minor, or modified with CS.

Also, I know a countdown was already posted, but this one’s pretty sleek and minimalist, and it’s got a domain hack: http://■■■■■■■■■■/#dartmouth

@GiddyHiddy environmental studies, but I also want a double major in government.

Engineering Sciences with a minor in physics or math

@mgb1311 It sucks for you guys who are on the east coast, I’ll just be trying not to fail any tests tomorrow and then it’ll magically be 1 in the afternoon haha

Electrical Engineering with a minor in applied material science

I’d probably double major in Complex Systems and Engineering Science, hopefully w/the Byrne Scholars Program or while finishing the MEM coursework.

Anyway, good luck y’all. Of course, even if you don’t get in, it really isn’t the end of the world – last year I was rejected at USC and Ohio State but got into Dartmouth and other top schools.
