Hey guys, I was admitted to Dartmouth's class of 2018 and though I'm attending one of the admitted student days, I was wondering if any current Dartmouth student would be able to answer a couple of my questions..

1) How writing intensive is the economics program at Dartmouth, and Dartmouth courses in general? (english and writing are my weakest areas)

2) I want to go into finance when I graduate, namely investment banking. How common is this path for Dartmouth econ students, and is it doable?

3) How is the on campus recruiting at Dartmouth for ibanking/finance jobs? What kinds of companies hire from Dartmouth?

4) I know that a big part of getting an ibanking job is a junior year summer internship, and a big part of getting that junior year internship is getting a quality sophomore year summer internship. How are dartmouth kids able to get that experience when the d-plan requires sophomores to stay on campus during the summer quarter?

5) How hard is it to double major? Thinking about doing econ and compsci either major/minor or double major; I do have about 8-9 AP credits though

i have relatively little background of this entire thing, so any answers to my questions, or general information, tips, advice, etc. would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot!!
