<p>just stumbled upon this thread- I was also deferred from Dartmouth and almost forgot I even applied. I sent in my Fall/Winter Sports awards along with an additional letter of recommendation. I am currently an EDII candidate for Tufts University and I’m almost glad I got deferred because I opened my eyes and fell in love with Tufts even more so than I had with Dartmouth. Results will be released within the next week or so ahh!</p>

<p>In terms of feeling optimistic, I am trying to remain so. I think I have a decent chance, but there are a lot of other qualified applicants from my school.</p>
