Dartmouth - ED1

I am a potential applicant to Dartmouth ED1

I would undoubtably go if accepted, yet I am worried that I am 'throwing away' my ED card with such (comparatively) low credentials. I attend a well-known Prep School in New England.
GPA: 3.53 (unweighted - 8 AP's)
ACT: 29 (superscore)

I'm sure you have never seen this before... but I have numerous extracurricular activities and hold 5 leadership positions within my prep school. I play Flamenco guitar. I love Dartmouth, I just want to know if it is an inaccessibly high reach for me.
I also initiated an independent study in renewable energy architecture systems as well...

I am open to all comments and suggestions. I am also looking at Bates and Hamilton.

Hopefully the Early Decision will help you…
Good Luck!

It’s not going to happen.

Your ACT/GPA aren’t abysmal, but in the context of a “well-known prep school,” and especially in New England, it is a significant knock.

If you want any chance at all, you better have like 2,000 community service hours, write some serious Conrad-level literature for your essays, and maybe throw in musical prodigy with winning the international Wienawski contest.

ACT SCORES ARE HORRIBLE. Yuck. No way you’re getting in with that.
