Dartmouth experience for a minority

I know this was probably asked a couple of times before, but how is the college experience for someone who isnt a white student from a suburb, more specifically, a hispanic student from a large city like philidelphia or nyc? Obviously I'm not worried about racism or any kind of discrimination, but is the estabillished and famed "Dartmouth experience" primarily enjoyed by white students from wealthy backgrounds? So essentially, how well does everyone mix, particularly because its such a small school?

Also, how alive is intellectual life? I know its not similar to say chicago but does the greek scene and preprofessional bent diminish the type of intellectualism and discussion you would find at a school with a similar amount of students?

Hey! I’m applying to Dartmouth as well. I’m from the New Jersey area and I’m also hispanic and I was also wondering about how the minority life is. Hoping we both get in :D

Great! Hopefully someone can give us some insight. Have you visited?
