Has anyone else applied?
Yes, I have as well. Not paying too much attention to Dartmouth transfer admissions though, as they admit so few applicants I’m not getting my hopes up.
Last year was particularly rough due to over-admitting freshmen. 679 applied and 19 accepted. The year before that was 683 applied and 57 accepted.
I applied, I’m actually on campus right now but yeah, the 2.8% acceptance rate is rough. It is gorgeous here, though.
^By the way, I am on campus visiting, I haven’t been accepted
Wish I had a chance to visit. May sure seems really far away.
The numbers are all going to depend on how many freshman they take. Hopefully we will have more transfer acceptances than last year.
doesn’t look good for us with the new numbers of accepted students.
Are they taking that many more?
They actually took 100 less but had a lot more applications. Now we wait for the yield to know how many spots will be available.
With these stats and the fact that I will be enrolled in a native american tribe is there a chance they might accept me.

@VANZANTLYRICS You have good test scores so get a good GPA and extra curriculars and make sure your essays are great. There’s no telling if you’ll get accepted or not till you get a decision.
Did any of you get in as transfers?
Don’t find out until around May 8th probably.
Hopefully the yield isn’t crazy like it was last year and then they might have more transfers.
Yea the high yield cut down a typical 60 transfers to around 30, somewhere around that.
it was actually 19 and 14 accepted last year, down from 30 the year before.
Oh, you’re right last year was 19 offered and 14 accepted but the previous year (2013 - 2014) was 57 offered and 27 accepted.
This thread is dead compared to last year. Is anyone applying this year?
Seems like none of the transfer threads are getting as many posts as previous ones
