can someone tell me how Dartmouth undergraduate students do
at grad or getting job? (i.e. what grad school do they go or jobs at fortune 500 company)
who are some famous ppl from Dartmouth?

Dartmouth does amazingly well at grad placement (I would say the top level- about the same as every Ivy) and all the top banks/ consulting firms recruit from the school. Not as many fortune 500 companies, they tend to recruit locally (at state schools). But the bank/ consulting firm jobs are usually much more coveted.

Good post---I can only add that Wall Street is teeming with Dartmouth grads of all generations, with that Dartmouth loyalty. When I see posts with people asking DArtmouth or -- whatever school, I can only figure they don't understand this network thing w/D.

CEOs of GE and Goldman Sachs are Dartmouth grads, also the founder of Vivid.

Oh and the late Jim Cantalupo, former CEO of McDonald's.

How good is Dartmouth's Med School placement? Especially, as compared to Notre Dame or Case Western?

MUCH better. Go to any website for a med school, Dartmouth is usually among the five top four or five schools at almost all of the top schools. I can honestly say it seems like everyone is at a top school. Four of my Dartmouth best friends go to med school at Penn, Harvard, Cornell, and Yale. They have all commented that Dartmouth is overrepresented.

In my cluster of 60 at Columbia, we have four Dartmouth alums, which is the highest outside of Princeton (5) and Penn (5), but Penn is much bigger.
