Oh I really wanted to be the 2000th poster :(

So what’s out there for an anxious Ivy applicant who can’t sleep just 40 something hours(yes, I am counting down the hours-or is that the thing to do for serial CC-ers?) before THE DAY?

…Well CC of course!!!

What? Who am I?
Oh, I’m just a South African insomniac with eyes dead set on Yale (Dartmouth, Columbia, Amherst and the rest are indeed suitable alternative-or does that just go without saying?) Haha, is it just me or is it really hilarious how we all ‘played it safe’?-or am I the only one who attempted that-and probably failed at it(hope not)…either way, I just want me YALE!!!

(Yes, my mom also thinks I’m loosing it lately…bummer!)

Oops, just realized that this the Dartmouth section…sorry, its past 1am already, some cheap wine has found its way to my more tender spots and somewhere between now and never-that also made no sense to me(and I thought I was a poet)

Okay, now I’m just rambling…wow, I never thought it would get this bad, all I do now is listen to Lana Del Rey(yes, I’m promoting her) and just think of how damn excited when I got my first email from the likes of Dartmouth and Harvard…Anywho, good luck to you, don’t know what you’ve got on your side, but I’ve got the Lord with me!!!
(shout out to all the God freaks out there-hardly see any on CC though)

See you all at…wherever the tide deposits us

Just an Update

Say hi and post the following:
Name:
Country:
Hobbies/ECs:
And if you want… intended major:

**@Ntsoketsi
Welcome, even if you aimed for the wrong college Not much of a Yale fan myself but what do you plan on studying? **

@Lemming
Sorry :/

@dbtocollege
Yea, same sort of deal with me (also UK system) but I basically moved back a year it seems compared to the rest of the South Africans doing the A Level system - don’t particularly mind though :P

@Rishav
Yea I know, about time we got ourselves another South African and one that bursts in with such style xP

Hey I have a question…how do you quote on CC??Have been fiddling with it for a while…Ohh and 1 more thing how do you make sure that the Accepted/rejected stat posting code works perfectly…I failed twice…miserably:)

The quoting I am not sure about…

For the stats posting, to show the code they usually leave a space or another character to mess up the code… no spaces; [ size=+2 ] [ color = green/red/orange ]

I’ll try this out for dartmouth…:)

Awesome :)

To quote

[ Quote]Say whatever you want to say[ /Quote]

*Remove the spaces.

For the stat posting, just copy paste the template on the 1st page of the thread and then remove the spaces an delete the rows which aren’t necessary.

@rishav
I have to read a book for school first but then I will read Prisoner of Birth :)

@sunny: My exams are over and I haven’t reactivated Facebook yet; I don’t think we’re losing out on much
My school is a partner of the German consulate here, so a number of a my friends have taken German courses…I’m surprised I’ve never heard of this drawback before O.o

@rishav: Only read Archer’s short stories. Brilliant.

@Ntsoketsi999: I loooooovvvvvvveeeeeeeeeee Yale. And Dartmouth. Good luck to you! :)

@Raith: Your update forgot to mention that I’m crazy about birds. Remember? Yale has lots of birdwatchers ^^ (That puts it ahead of Dartmouth, OMG :O)

@Raith don’t you worry :’)
Good luck tonight!!!

Why the he’ll is it snowing today??? It’s March??? Holy cow…

@lemming - Snowing in England?? London??

Just hope the weekend matches BPL matches don’t get postponed!! Have been waiting forever!! :/

Liverpool not London and its been like this for days :’)

Ahh. Is it bad enough for the matches to be postponed??
