@Raith
Actually it would really be something nice, but kind of cheesy anyway :D

@POmani
btw, Noncustodial Parent’s Profile Application due to February 15 (if you need that one) ;)

Haha, no it’s okay I’m using the regular one. Thanks for letting me know though.

Oh, and do we know when decisions are out?

@POmani
You are welcome. My application status says that decisions will be out on or about April 1 :)

Okay cheers :)

@Sunny
It would be so cheesy, but it might brighten up their day! Imagine having to read through a couple hundred applications!!

Does anyone know if their is a form that Dartmouth requires showing that you can pay for college? A few universities I have applied to have told me to send a bank affidavit saying that I can pay for college… I’m sure they will get onto me if there is one, but I’d rather fill it out sooner than later.

I wonder if I will be able to bear the cold there…brrr:)

@POmani
I just noticed that you have to send Income/Benefits Statement from Employer due to February 1, too. I haven’t sent that :/

@MRU

I’m basically thinking about 3 options :
Psychology,Economics or Engineering.
Though I have a feeling I’m going
To take a dual in Economics and Engineering (Perhaps the MEM degree)

@Quiver
You will learn how to layer your clothes correctly the cold is really one of the things I am looking forward to! :D

@Dart
Interesting set of possible majors! I think the dual degree sounds like a good idea (both very useful and interesting majors in my opinion), though all three are great Why are you looking at those three in particular?

Bank statement or the verification of your family’s financial circumstances are not required until you’re accepted and need to be issued a visa. The statement is strictly for visa requirement purposes and not related to financial aid.

@Boss
Thanks, just had a quick moment of worry there as a couple other universities were checking that I can pay for them…

You just can’t leave this page for half a day & expect to know what’s going on… :p

@Sunny & Pomani - I think all documents are to be submitted before 1st March!! And the CSS was due Feb 1st, but a few days late doesn’t matter(at least it didn’t with Pton!)

[Parent’s Tax Return Instructions](<a href=“Home | Financial Aid”>Home | Financial Aid)

54 days left…

@Rishav
Seriously counting the days!!
I just read two- quite worrying posts- about Caltech and MIT
Someone applying (or accepted) to MIT was asking what a party is like… not what are the parties at MIT like… but what are parties (just the general idea) like… I hate to make fun of it, but come one, everyone here has been to some sort of party, right? Doesn’t have to be some really big rave, but party with booze, music, people (some of which you don’t really know)…
And then apparently most people at Caltech have been shielded from life that they seem to go overboard with drugs and drinking, and the professors just assign loads of work without really teaching it.

Yes these are slightly out of context… so no one crawl down my throat cause I am wrong, just thought it would be interesting to post here. (Especially for me since I have applied there)… Anyone else’s thoughts?

@rishav
Thanks
54 days? I don’t want to wait so long :D

@Sunny
And when you get your letter… how much longer will you wait to open it? ;)

@Raith
probably several hours :D

I feel like a killjoy or something, because I have never drank or smoked in my life before haha. Oh I hope I fit in at Dartmouth if I am accepted and decide to attend there

@Raith
If you want to know contact current students and ask them about their experiences at college. Or do you have an interview? Ask your interviewer :)
