@Himanshu
Best of luck with getting those bragging rights! Waitlisted however is still really amazing :)

I did’nt receive any calls for an interview!
Did any of you guys get an interview?

^ Saharsh depends on where you applied to. Some Unis like Pton and UPenn give out interviews to just about everyone while some : Yale, Dartmouth etc dont.

ALSO, RISHAV HIT 1000 POSTS
yeah i gave a similar speech at the half time of a match. Which we ended up losing xD

SLOW DOWN GUYS I CANT COPE UP WITH THIS THREAD. LOL

P.S. 4 days to go for Pi day/MIT Decisions. All the best everybody :D

Well you’re right, I was interviewed for 5 Ivies, and some non ivies but Dartmouth and Columbia never contacted me for an interview. Also, Cornell doesn’t interview.

5 Ivies? WOW. That IS A LOT. Just out of curiousity, what were the Ivies that offered you interviews?
You must be a strong applicant Or there might be tons of interviewers in your area.

Well, I applied to 6 Ivies and only did interview for Brown so there’s that haha
so I guess that means… rejections/waitlists here I come?
naaaahhhh
I got my confidence and plus I live in a small city in Thailand so… yeah… haha

@saharsh I only got one interview and it wasn’t from an ivy.

@rishav Your 1000th post was funny to me. You need to stop worrying, stop thinking of impending doom. THINK OF IMPENDING GREATNESS!! You’ve worked hard, now let fate do the rest.

@saharsh
I got an interview from Dartmouth :)

Guyinblue, I live in Dubai, so there are 2-3 interviewers for most top schools here, primarily working with companies like Morgan Stanley and the likes or with law firms. Although, I wouldn’t say that there are too many interviewers, you’ll probably find more in India. Still, I was interviewed EA for Yale, and RD for Harvard, Princeton, UPenn, and Brown (Skype interview for Brown, with interviewer in London). The non Ivies I was interviewed for were Rice, Johns Hopkins and Lehigh(Skype interview with current senior). I also gave the virtual online interview for Bucknell.

On a side note, if anyone here is writing their boards like me, best of luck for chemistry tomorrow!

I was only interviewed by Princeton and by Steven’s Institute of technology… but Mauritius barely has any interviewers (if any) and I was listed as Mauritius I think… for some reason Princeton assigned me an interviewer in South Africa (which was lucky since I flew in the day before one of the proposed interview days ) - Which was an amazing interview!!

Really hoping for an acceptance from Princeton Plus my sister will really push me towards P’ton haha! She wants another excuse to visit :P

@Blue
Pi day will hopefully be really good! All the CalTech rejects are waiting for Pi Day xP

@Raith - Yes Pi Day will be good news for you buddy
Oh, it would be so awesome if you get into Princeton. I mean, seriously, brother sister duo alums of Pton. Sounds awesome. :D

@Saharsh - Okay. It seems you ARE COMPETITIVE. All the best man And good luck with Chem tomorrow :)

@Sunny - How did you Dartmouth interview go? :D

@Blue
Let’s hope it will be a good day for me I feel like I am a better fit for them rather than CalTech… but not sure if I’ll do well enough (I had trouble writing a lot of their essays… very little actually pertained to what I have been through)… and they had many short essay prompts… So actually not expecting acceptance either - maybe waitlisted… but we will see.

And yea, got me some black and orange running through my veins! :D

@guyinblue
It was awesome. My interviewer was lovely and we laughed a lot. I wrote about my interview some time ago but I can’t find the page anymore. :D

@Raith you’re a legacy man, that’s great for you! You’re probably already in! :P

As for interviews, I remember my Harvard interview was quite awesome, it was with a very recent graduate and it last over 2 hours! :D

Princeton interview was the best I think, and all other interviews were great too! However, the Johns Hopkins interview sort of fizzled out.

@Himanshu
I don’t actually think I count as a legacy, my sister graduated last year It isn’t like my family has been through - but hoping it helps a bit at least!
I really hope I am in though, feels like home (a lot more familiar cause I have visited it)

Seems like most people enjoy their P’ton interviews hey? :)

They do, don’t they. A lot of my friends here who applied to Princeton also held their interviews in high regard.

They really do! P’ton folk are just so friendly… or as one student put it… a cult! haha one of which I’d be happy to be a part of
But since we are here on the Dartmouth thread… Dartmouth is great too… xP haha wish I had gotten a Dartmouth interview as well though

@Raith - LOL. You have a good chance there dont worry
Who knows in April youll be a tiger :D

@Himanshu - 2 hours? I didnt get an Harvard interview . definitely a rejection for me :’(
Princeton alumni seem to be real friendly though. :)

@Blue
Thanks, though I’d prefer put myself down a little now so I hopefully get pleasantly surprised in April
Tiger… Green… Beaver??.. Hopefully some good choices :P
