Tension is high, nerves on the edge, and the world is close to blowing up! :P

Recently we have discussed subjects we have enjoyed and hated in school… Sport’s punishments… essays… and other universities apart from Dartmouth haha! :D

We try offer advice and knowledge about Dartmouth as well as our perception of admissions processes and small bits and pieces of other universities.

We are always welcoming new internationals - we don’t care about your marks or scores; just bring your personality and have some fun with us! :D

**GO GREENS!!! **

BEST OF LUCK EVERYONE!!! ABOUT 10 MORE DAYS LEFT!!! :D

Just an Update

Say hi and post the following:
Name:
Country:
Hobbies/ECs:
And if you want… intended major:

Do we need Skype??I have a Skype account, but you seem very active on fb right now;)

I suppose we don’t need skype I didn’t realise that it was you who added me on FB

@raith yeah he did! I can tell you, for the three years I swam under him, I didn’t once get positive feedback. On my last session he told me he was going to drop me from the squad - a death sentence in Oman, becase there arent any more swim cluns. buts its okay, i just moved to the UK with a world-class coach who’d coached Olympic gold medallists (South Africa 4 x 200m freestyle relay Athens 2000) But when I got my new hugely positive coach and was given feedback constructively, I was like ‘woah. Coaches can be nice people’ haha my old coach used to just hurl so much abuse at me that it undermined my respect for authority, meaning that I wasn’t teacher-fearing, or rather everyone else seemed so nice relative to him, even when they were angry.

As soon as I posted #1740, I added you on Facebook. We are doing a double chat now!!:p

Raith seems like a water animal!!! I envy you guys in sports matters. I haven’t had the privilege of participating in any high adrenaline sports.

@PO
My coach back in Mauritius was really nice… tough at times, but not unreasonable… the coach in South Africa should have gone through anger management classes!! :S

You have been given great opportunities in terms of your swimming… wish I had had them too :/

@Hoping
I love the water, if I could grow gills and enjoy fish I’d probably live in the water (and if most electronics worked under water xP
But high adrenaline sports are what I live for!! Skydiving, Scuba Diving, Kite surfing I love the adrenaline!

Man I wish I were you!!! I always wish to do all those but I am too afraid of water because I don’t know how to swim. If we both get accepted at a common uni, I’ll try to learn everything from you.

I am definitely happy to teach people to swim maybe they will share a few of my passions some day :D

I don’t think I much to teach though :P

@raith oh yeah, I’m extremely grateful for the opportunity :)

closest I’ve gotten is SA waterpolo coaches/players… but I am too small for water polo small hands and feet don’t help much haha! Doesn’t help much with swimming either… but luckily my strength, technique and endurance makes up for my natural physical disadvantage :P

err, i remember my swim coach hit the bums of the students who made a mistake or two.
and well, thank was really painful! =_=

randomness

i kept chucking reading this article:
[TheDartmouth.com: How Dartmouth Should Reject People](http://thedartmouth.com/2012/04/27/mirror/rejection)
but damn, that would sound so shattering when you’re a reject yourself!
XD

haha! xP nice

Hey everyone! :)

Country:Croatia/Guinea
Hobbies/ECs:Track & field, cross country
Intended major: Engineering

yes…yale, cornell, stanford and tufts :)

ah i can’t wait anymore!!!
