sorry forgot and Berkeley

@krishna good luck… I applied to Brown as well but doubt I’ll get in cos I need full aid :o

Hey all!! :)

It’s been 2 mad days these!!
After my last chem exam I’ve been running around all over town :p

And then this morning - “Northwestern is glad to offer you ADMISSION”
Did not expect this at all, especially after finding out last week that Northwestern admits around 25 Intn’ls with aid each year on average!! So a pleasant surprise.

@Iboss, Krishna - Don’t worry people. Miracles do happen. So just hold on and Ivy day you’ll get in somewhere for sure. You guys are awesome people!

@rishav CONGRATULATIONS. That’s amazing news

Thanks lemming!! :)

I can’t believe it myself!
I keep re -reading the letter just to make sure it’s not a prank!! Haha!

Congrats rishav17!
It’s your choice, but if I were you, Northwestern would be more appealing than Dartmouth due to its proximity to Chicago and beautiful campus.
Once again congrats and hard work does pay off!

@rishav17

Congrats brother
NU is lucky enough to have you.
Best of luck again for Ivies

@Iboss - Thanks man!! Really wish you’d gotten in!! Then I’d know someone!
Northwestern is one of my top choices. Dartmouth & Pton being the other two. I mostly will end up going here, just because I doubt I’ll get in else where and I’ve been in love with NU for quite some time.
The only thing that might cause me to not go to Northwestern right now is - Evaston’s winter and the details of the aid package! Haha!

@Krishna - Thanks man. All the best to you too for the Ivies!! :)

Btw, when did you receive your colgate letter??

Evanston’s winter isn’t as bad as people make it out to be
I remember I used to live in a similar environment in Ohio (by Lake Erie) and I wore a hoodie and shorts well into December! But then again, you live in India, so it might be freezing cold for you!
Best of luck for the other schools.

@Iboss - yeah. Big difference in climate between India and the north of USA. I’m fine with the cold, but I hate chilly winds. :p

Firstly…
Congrats Rishav! Really happy for you, still hoping for the Ivies though, especially if I get in and get to meet a few of you guys

To everyone else… Tough luck guys, I really hope it is just a bump in the road hey, we will see when Ivy day and April 1st come out…

FINALLY the boards are over ;)

Congratulations rishav ! You are indeed fortunate to get accepted at your first-choice college!

How is decision week treating the rest of you? I have been rejected from 3 and waitlisted at one institution so far… :(

@Keya
Hey, how did the boards go for you? :)

3 rejections and 1 acceptance (I have 7 more unis left. . . 1 should be this evening/tomorrow morning)

Middlebury decisions soon. >_>

I get my Grinnell decision tomorrow at 8am EST :O

^middlebury’s come out at same time!

GOOD LUCK ALL… I’m quite nervous actually

3 rejections today! - Northwestern, Bucknell, Rice.

@Himanshu
I feel your pain… didn’t apply to Bucknell or NW… but also rejected from Rice… seems I can’t win…
Still crossing fingers for Ivy Day as almost anything can happen… it really is like winning a lottery…
