I'm a girl and I was wondering what the appropriate attire was for a college interview? We're meeting at a library, so should I wear a formal suit? What about jeans and a nice shirt? Please help?

It's an alumni interview

do you have any dress pants? or you could wear a longer skirt (knee-length) with a blouse. thats probably what i'd wear. i'd hate to be underdressed.

Anything green. Seriously, casual neat, non jeans and a sweater is fine.

How about this?

I'm a guy, but I wore khakis and a button-down shirt. I think dress pants or khakis are the way to go, no jeans.

how do you guys get interviews so fast?

My application status page still says that haven't receive anything yet

I'd go smart casual. Cotton pants, definitely don't wear jeans, and a nice collared shirt should do.

you dont even need a collared shirt. a dress skirt (perhaps highwaisted for the fashionable), or dress pants, and then a cute top with a cardigan or something.
