How are the meals? Is it all-you-can eat or you have to pay for each item you take? Is the food expensive if you go over your allotted meal plan?

As far as the quality of meals go, I can’t really say as I’ve never been there, but I’ve heard the food is pretty darned good for a college.

I do know that the food is a la carte…

You have to pay for every item you take. Very annoying, and damned expensive too. Why bother with a meal plan? All it is is a debit card that you swipe after the cashier totals it up.

(Edit: But not a reason to choose Cornell over Dartmouth.)

You pay for what you buy…except for sunday homeplate brunch, which is 9.00 all you can eat, but worth it. The food is also really good…like when I go home, I miss Dartmouth food.

I’m not too concerned with food and the price, but I’m just curious to know. How much would a hamburger alone cost? How about hamburger with fries and soda? How much does breakfast, lunch, and dinner cost on average?
