Want to major in Political Science/Government/Pre-Law

you look pretty competitive so far for these schools, but keep your GPA up because that's really important, and stay involved! sounds like you could sail your way into NYU at this point

yeah i forgot to put "what are my chances?" lol...I've kinda figured NYU was a match, my final GPA at end of 1st semseter senior year will be between 3.56 and 3.7 depending how I do next year, my 3.61 is a rough estimate..I have a 3.49 now but next year I have easier classes (no AP CHEM!-very hard..)

I think you're pretty competitive with the APs and recs--- NYU may be able to fit you better with its program, i think, next is georgetown, then dartmouth.

Thanks. NYU does have a better program, but since I want to go into politics I figured Georgetown being in D.C. would be an advantage.
anyone else?

anybody else? I could use some more opinions...or let me know if you're applying (I'm not til next year, don't worry we aren't competition! ;)) or if you got in this year...
THanks

Does anyone know the importance of Subject Tests upon admission in any of these schools? I know Dartmouth you have to take 3, 2 for GU, and I think 3 for NYU? But how influential are they? My 680 Math Level 1 is low..

I have no clue about that since I'm not applying but I think a 680 won't blemish your application, though you may want to retake it for better scores..
