Dartmouth or Princeton?

<p>Princeton’s grade deflation policy limits A’s to an average 35% across departments. One of my friends who is currently a junior there gave me the following example:</p>

There are ten students in my Spanish class this semester. Only three of us will get A’s. At first, you might think that’s easy, since you’re at the top of your high school class. But remember something: this is Princeton. Most people here were at the top – or near the top – of their high school classes. Competing with them is tough, and my GPA proves it.
