So I haven’t heard anything about anyone getting a likely letter yet. Do you think they’re taking longer because of the extra apps this year, or are the people who got them just not saying anything? @Violin87 are you an athlete or just an amazing applicant? Likely letters are very interesting to me and I really was hoping to get one (obviously didn’t expect to just one of my fantasies)
DS is not an athlete, but his father went to that ivy as a grad student.
Many people say that the likely letters are for top students, but I personally do not believe so.

What do you think is going on with likely letters this year, you seem like you are very aware of the college process, so I was just wondering.
There will be Likely Letters, but since decisions are later, LLs will be later than last year.
A few days ago I got an email from Dartmouth about submitting financial aid materials even though I already submitted everything. Anyone else got it?

It was about submitting the financial aid stuff by February 1st. It just explained the process.
Just check your FA checklist on your portal login - if it shows FA application + CSS received, you wouldn’t have anything to worry about!

Any word on LL’s?? It’s so weird because I know Yale and Harvard’s are out but I haven’t heard anything about Dartmouth LL’s. Anyone have any information?
I have heard about people getting LLs from Ivy League schools even up till March 12th, so I guess you could wait.

My point is less that I am impatient (granted, I am) but more that I am wondering if Dartmouth has sent any at all. Or if they will send any.
Hey! just wondering, are likely letters only for US kids or International (I’m from Canada!)
International students get them too, I guess.
I am not sure if Dartmouth has sent any, but the last date by which the ivy league schools send LLs hasn’t passed.
Is there a definitive date by which the colleges send out early writes or likely letters? Or is it just any time prior to the posted release date of decisions?
LLs are sent lastly by a couple of weeks before the decision release date.
