denied too...

but as my boyfriend nicely put it: i'm too sexy for dartmouth anyways.
:-)

Also denied. But this will make it easier to pick. I already got into one of my other schools and I'm still waiting on my first choice so I'm not that upset about it. Dartmouth would have been great but I'd be equally happy with one of the schools I applied to. I hope someone gets in from this board though! That would be so sad if we are all rejected.

Denied. Pretty crushed at the moment.

waitlisted... don't know what to do!

Essays: I thought they were good -- used same essay for both common app & supplemental dart (i felt that the essay answered both)

i'm disappointed with a waitlist, but they're still going to torture me with hope...

Denied. (10 characters)

did anyone on this forum actually get in?

I have a friend who got in, they were a transfer from another Ivy (and not Cornell)

was it brown?

Rejected :'*cries

it seems like these ivy to ivy transfers are much more common than i thought.

on the upside, i showed my best friend the letter and she cried she was so happy, and jumped around squealing and picked me up like a man in a corny hollywood movie and spun me around hugging me.

tonight its strawberries and chocolate and champagne and cocktail dresses and sex & the city for the four of us. (two of us applied to transfer, another is miserable here most of the time).

Sorry to everyone who didn't get what they wanted. Its a sad feeling, I know. But make the most of your friday night.

i got rejected

And I was rejected last year from Dartmouth! And the year before that! This year, I just didn't bother applying, haha.

Or sending the admissions office flowers again...hehe.

I'm afraid guys and gals, that with school being over as of ... friday at 330 and my flight home being tomorrow (well... later this morning...)and work starting on tuesday... I won't be checking up on the CC as religiously/obsessidly/compulsively as I have been these past few weeks. I sincerely hope everything works out for the best for everybody here. You should feel free to IM me whenever I'm online though, because the summer is going to STINK. So I will be bored and lonely and in want of chatting... chat me up!

Good luck to those of you with finals/papers still to finish, and safe and hassle-free travels too!

I personally spent 12 hours packing up today. Wow .So much for that paper I was supposed to finish before I left.. (hence the being up at 4 in the morning)

Peace and NO-Stress,
