Schools:

Dartmouth EA
U Chicago EA
Tufts
Colgate
Williams
Haverford
Yale
Johns Hopkins

UChicago is doable.
Yale, probably not.
John Hopkins, good reach, as well as Darthmouth. I dont know about the other schools.

thanks

"good" as in a doable reach? or good as in big?

you have a good chance of getting in. your unweighed gpa is a little low but ive seen people with worse who got in.

Wait, UChicago doable? by my understanding, correct me if I'm wrong, uchicago is like, ridiculous...not a match...

Dartmouth EA -- iffy; I mean, go for it. I won't say shoo-in or anything. You've got a chance. reach.
Tufts -- Tufts oh tufts; weird school. Really likes to see personality, so like, make your essays good.
UChicago EA: Same as Dartmouth.
Colgate: dunno the school
Williams: higher-ish reach, but I'm biased 'cause I was rejected outright. You can check my stats.
Haverford: dunno the school
Yale: heh...this school has rejected some of the most amazing kids I've ever met, so high high reach.

I didn't know Dartmouth had EA...

There's no doubt you are a qualified student; however, with college acceptance rates becoming more and more unpredictable, have you considered any solid safeties?

I got into the U chicago with my gpa being uw 3.4; w 3.7, 11 APs, 2180 SAT, perfect SAT II scores, awsome EC and volunteering. This was last year but still... I have a friend who got in with uw 3.6, 2080 SAT, and okay ec and volunteering... so i would say he has a good chance. I mean Uchicago is really hard to get into, but I think they select more of students who are very promising. Most of the students who get in have a gpa of 3.75 or higher but still, he has a fair shot.

er... ok not EA, ED.

actually it is EA. Buuuuuuump.
