Doesn't Dartmouth get enough apps? why would they go out and visit high schools? does it mean they would like to get more apps from our high school?

No,

It is not unusual for schools to do college visits especially if your GC invites them to come.

We have colleges visit our school everyday.

we've had about 120 schools visit my school, including 1/2 the Ivy League.

It is not uncommon at all for colleges to visit high schools, not just to get their name out but to see who's interested and to answer applicant questions.

we have about three colleges a day come and all the Ivies have come(except Brown.)

It means they are trying to get more students to apply, and thus can pick from a larger pool of applicants and get stronger students, and also seem more selective (due to more applications).
