I haven’t seen a thread for Dartmouth waitlist for the class of 2025. Is there anyone here? Where else you are waitlisted?
Hey! Got waitlisted from Dartmouth too! I was also waitlisted at Vanderbilt and Columbia and going to USC if no WL comes through! Hbu?
My daughter is waitlisted at million schools including Vandy, Northwestern Columbia, UPenn and Dartmouth. Committing to Georgetown. USC is a good one too! We did get in.

do you guys think that they’re gonna admit applicants off the waitlist this year?
Very hard to say for now. But the yield may very well be low as many high achievers applied to many colleges. So fingers crossed for all of us!
Hi everyone! sounds like all of you have great options if the waitlist doesn’t work out. I committed to Colorado College yesterday. But I am waitlisted at Colby, Middlebury, and Dartmouth. I am not sure what to expect from the waitlist this year at top colleges. I know that Colby already admitted students off the waitlist which is a good sign. I wish you all the best of luck to get accepted off the waitlist.
Is Dartmouth your top choice if admitted off of the waitlist? Have you sent the LOCI or any update or recommendation? I don’t know what will help, but we should try everything possible. Also someone told us that you write your name in the subject of the email so that the AO notice it.
Yes, If admitted off the waitlist I will attend Dartmouth. I already sent my LOCI and it appeared in my portal a couple weeks ago so I assume they received it. I also sent it to the AO but got no response. Congrats on your daughters commitment to Georgetown, I have a number of friends that will be attending next year and it seems like an amazing school. I am conflicted on whether to continue to update the schools. I worry about annoying them with more than one update especially when not much has changed in my life. Things are pretty slow here in Seattle, I just attended my first day of in person school last week.
Not too many updates, but I would think one closer to May 3, or right after May 3 is good even if you did it before.

are full-pay applicants statistically more likely to get off the waitlist?
For some schools. Dartmouth is need blind for ALL admitted students including from waitlist. So I don’t think they will favor full pay over others for the waitlist.
Man tbh I dont know what to make of it this year, I feel like since a lot of people took gap year last yr, chances that Dartmouth will pull people off the waitlist are rather slim. But at the same time maybe a lot of high achievers did receive an offer from Dartmouth and will not go.
