I know that Dartmouth does not have a drinking problem, but would you say there's more drinking going on than at Amherst or Yale?

Kim, I don't know what you mean by drinking problem... there is an overemphasis on drinking in the social scene. After freshman year, attendance at programming events really drops off, and the people who don't drink usually stop experimenting with the frats (except for the Coed frats). But in as much as we don't have students dying of alcohol poisoning like at some other schools, I suppose it is not a problem.

There is definitely more drinking at Dartmouth than at Amherst or Yale. It's funny, freshman year my roommate bought me a double shot glass with four lines: The half-shot said Harvard, one shot said Yale, a shot and a half said Princeton, and the two shot line was Dartmouth. (To put the schools in some perspective.) ;)

That's pretty clever...do you know where she got it (I may have to look into it :))?
