Is there a website where you can put in gpa and scores and see every automatic merit scholarship that you qualify for?
No
No such database.
But if you put the stats you have here…I’m quite sure you will get a LOT of information about auto merit for those stats…GPA and SAT or ACT scores.
Is this student a senior or a junior?
Junior. 3.9 UW and 4.6 recalculated. 1460 superscore 690R 770M. Will probably go to UF or FSU because of bright futures and Florida pre paid, but she’s still itching to spread her wings outside of Florida. We want a strong Hillel on campus. We also don’t really see any reason to spend more than we would pay for a Florida school. Completely undecided on major.
The reality is some FKA auto scholarships are becoming more and more a moving target. Schools will continue to change year to year, so even if you find the info, you need to check how it applies to your kid’s application.

With BF, what is that figure?
Alabama, Arizona, New Mexico are all possibilities. But since you have Bright Futures and FL Prepaid, it sounds like FL schools will be almost all covered.
I don’t think you will find anything that matches your FL costs.
@mom2collegekids can explain the Alabama awards and your net costs guaranteed.
@WayOutWestMom can explain your net costs at U of New Mexico.
probably 10k per year or less
@thumper1 I don’t think I will find a great Hillel at those schools. I’m sure we will end up in Florida but I want to show her I at least looked into possibilities
Here is the info for Hillel at ASU

And Alabama…
I think your bigger issue is getting a net cost under $10,000. She would need a full tuition scholarship.
College of Charleston would be a good place to look if you are looking for an active Jewish population. But I don’t think your net costs will be $10,000 or less there.
You will be asking for full tuition plus scholarships to meet that. If she is in at the best flagship there seems little point in looking at other southern publics. I assume she isn't NMF? And you have no financial need? Any point in trying for privates?
She isn’t guaranteed UF right? That is the most desirable in state?
Shouldn’t that be her job?
Is she a NM finalist by any chance? That would open up some additional doors.
Will she retake the SAT or take the ACT? The higher the score the better the awards.
Shouldn’t that be her job?<<<<
You know, with financially limited kids (like the 95%) it just really isn’t worthwhile telling her to run with it. Finding schools at 10K a year will be really limited. There is zero reason why parents shouldn’t be making a master list in this scenario, Realistically kid has very few choices, Fiske Guide isn’t going to cut it. OP looks at her kid with the nice stats and wonders if there is real merit money out there worth pursuing. When kids come with this scenario, we tell them they have a bird in the hand already.
RE: University of New Mexico
The OP’s student is eligible for the Regents Scholarship–a true full ride–tuition, R&B, all fees. Requires a separate application due by Dec 1. Not guaranteed. All Regents Scholars are part of the Honors College.
The Amigo Scholarship is guaranteed for those stats. It awards in-state tuition status.
UNM in-state tuition & fees – $7556/year (full time, 15-16 credits/semester)
room & board – $11-12K/year, depending on the selection of meal plan and type of room

There is a very active Hillel on campus.

ABQ has a Jewish Community Center (JCC of Greater Albuquerque) that is very active, has about a dozen different congregations that range from orthodox through reformed, and there is a Chabad not far from campus.
Are you considering New College of Florida? It could be a good alternative to the large public U’s, and it also participates in the National Student Exchange program - she could potentially spend a semester or her whole junior year at a school in a different region, while still paying her normal home-campus tuition and fees (or lack thereof). (The other FL school that participate in NSE is FIU) https://www.nse.org/exchange/colleges-universities/alpha-location/?r=1&z=1#homeinfo
@Eeyore123 as far as she knows she is only allowed to apply in state. Not even discussing unless there is something else that would be worth applying to and works financially. Doubtful that will change. She wants Michigan but that’s not happening for obvious reasons. No way we could get merit.
When I lived in florida other parents told me the Miss State made the figures work out to about what it would be at a Florida school with BF, but that was back when BF was only 1/2 tuition and no book or fee allowance.
You’d get the money for the prepaid so she could use that at any school, but very few are as cheap at the Florida schools for COA. With the BF and FPP, you are likely to pay nothing for tuition, fees, r&b and may even get a refund each semester. You may even pay little at private schools if they give good merit aid - Florida Southern, Flagler, even Miami - if you can stack BF, FPP, and merit.
