Date for ACT score report from April 9 test?

Hi again,

Thanks for your help. Anyone know when we will receive score reports for the April 9 ACT? The ACT site is only showing when to expect score reports for the June 26 test, which my daughter is registered for but won’t take if her scores were high enough in April. And if she does have to re-take, we will need to know in advance what she has to work on, so getting the report back a few weeks in advance of June 26 would be ideal. Can I expect that?

Thanks!

You should be able to view it by the end of April. The other times my daughter took it we got the results in 14-16 days.

smcirish, thank you so much!

I got it 10 days after I took the ACT. The earliest you’ll be able to see it is probably this Wednesday, and the latest would be the end of April unless something happened.

Thanks, can’t wait!

Great, thanks so much!

If I am correct it comes out at 1am EST on the 2nd Tuesday after the test. If you are on the west coast, it would be 10pm tonight! When my daughter took it last December, her score was available online the 2nd Tuesday after she tested, but since we live on the west coast, it was 10pm PST on Monday night. Believe me, we were at the computer awaiting her score!!!

I meant to say 10pm on the Monday night before.

Just don’t freak out if your scores take longer. See http://www.act.org/content/act/en/products-and-services/the-act/your-scores/view-your-scores.html – which gives a range of dates and states that scores “should be up within 2 weeks” but also says that scores will “start going up” on April 19. I saw someplace else on the site that scores will go up in batches (couldn’t find the link again) over a period of days, so it may be a matter of luck.

My daughter’s score was posted at midnight tonight!

We got them. Much lower than mock in science so will have to retest in June with more prep. She did say the science was harder than in the mock, so not a total surprise. Haven’t gotten the writing back yet, but at this point it doesn’t really matter.

I expect her writing score to be high. How many points will this add to her score of 31? Thanks.

@colgrima, unless they changed the format the writing score doesn’t change the ACT composite score. It is a separately reported score.

Thanks, ohiodad51. Will be prepping for science and retaking the test.
