Date for DAAP Acceptances

Anybody know when the acceptances for the DAAP programs are likely to be coming out this year? I saw that last year's seemed to start coming out on Dec 17th.

Well, I guess I can answer my own question - it’s today - December 15, 2009. D2 just told me that she was admitted to the Architecture program at DAAP. She checked her status on-line and it was there.

DS checked status this morning - also admitted to the Architecture progam at DAAP.

Congratulations to QT’s daughter and CM’s son. My daughter loves the graduate program in architecture at DAAP. The undergrads we know are happy about the academics, studios, co-ops, and can’t wait to get back to school after a break. The co-op opportunities are invaluable.

Thanks, mot!! D2 is now beginning to get cold feet syndrome - what seemed like a dream to her four months ago is rapidly turning into a reality. Now she’s scared that she’s not good enough. She really didn’t think she would get into the DAAP program. I remember walking with her this past summer through the DAAP (Aronsen?) building and the campus and her saying how fantastic it would be to be in the architecture program in that environment.

I just got into the Industrial Design program.

To be honest, I didn’t think I would get in because I go too a difficult school, take difficult classes, and have a GPA that is a little bit on the low side. However my SAT score is pretty good: 1360/1600 and 2060/2400.

But, I got in! There are some other schools I have interest in, but it’s good to know I got in here.

okay thanks for the stats good to know… the school’s obviously my reach, but i also noted a 2nd choice major for urban planning (idk if that will change anything haha). (and to show interest will send a teacher rec and personal letter of interest).

Ditto on congrats to QT’s daughter and CM’s son. Good luck, Pdelb2010! My son is in UC’s undergrad architecture program. He’s learned so much and feels the program is preparing him well for his co-ops and life after UC.
