I hope the big, fat envelope is good because that’s what we have and my son won’t be home for at least an hour. Let me know.

Sounds just like the 8x10 envelope my DD received. Congrats

Yup - the big envelope is “good!” :)

Hey I’m still waiting to hear back about whether or not I’ve been accepted. I live in northeast PA and I was wondering where those of you who have heard back already live so I know how much longer I’ll have to be in suspense. Thanks :)

psugirl - we’re in Houston.

I live in Northeat PA too and haven’t received anything yet, either.

Good luck! and congrats everyone!

S got his acceptance today. Yeah! We are in NY.

I got in!!!.. just had to tell someone.

WooHooo!!! D2 got the big envelope today! PSU is looking better and better.
(We are in Western PA)

Yay! I was having a terrible day and then I came home to my envelope!

This is the first place I’ve gotten in that I really want to go to, so there goes a lot of worrying. =]

5 people from my school got in, about 20 from our district
only one has been rejected so far lol. doesnt seem as selective as the figures say…

It is very selective. They may admit more, about 500 as they expect around 300 to enroll. They receive thousands of applicants/year. I’ve seen them turn down 2200+ SAT students, they are looking for true scholars for the incoming classes.

Congrats to those who got in. I can answer questions on here if you like (current scholar, biology major). Also, check out the PSU Schreyer Honors College facebook page that has been started by Dean Brady.

What about those of us who DIDNT have the application in by Nov 30th? Is anyone else besides me in this boat?
