Date of Highschool attendance

I've attended my high school since the end of June 2003 (summer school before 9th grade), but my transcript says July 2003. Will this have any significance?. I put June 2003 on my UC app

I doubt it.

No one cares.

NO IT WON'T. as long as you have attended it for more than 3 years its ok. they just want to make sure you meet residency requirements.

I've lived in Cali all my life (born and bred! I haven't moved more than a mile... literally. My first house is a short walk from the one I'm in right now :P)

Anyways, I went away for 6.5 weeks (I used calculator lol) to NY for Cornell's Summer College program. Anyways, on my original UC app, I put I've never left Cali except for brief vacations etc. I didn't really think 6 weeks was all that long especially over the summer. Even my school counselor told me to just put "yes" there. But apparently the question mentioned to mark no if I left for schooling. I must've made a mistake then. Anyways, on the UC review form it has no mention of this factor and so I never caught this mistake.

But ANYWAYS, on the SLR it asks the same question and this time I had to choose "no". I called the ORRES and the lady there told me it wouldn't affect my admissions (mabye my tuition) because the SLR people are different from the admissions people, but I was wondering if anyone else had anything to say. I highly doubt I'll get kicked out for this (because, really, I didn't try/manage to game the system at all.)

PS: I also put down on the UC app that I was at Cornell from Jun 2006-Aug2006 so I guess they probably knew I was gone for more than 6 weeks. Also, I've been at my California school for four years!

well, i don't think they will charge you the nonresident fee. but, call to ask about it cuz it would suck to have to pay extra just because you spent some time elsewhere. though, as long as YOUR PARENTS dont file taxes outside of california, everything should be cool. don't worry too much. but remember to call and ask.

I already did and the lady said I was being paranoid :p
