Date to mail out letters???

I feel like a pest asking this, but is there an established (by phonecall) date that Princeton will mail out decisions? I apologize, because this has probably already been addressed many times.

Not by phonecall, but by the Ivy League. They agreed to mail on Thursday, the 31st of March.

Do you know if the they send the acceptance letters by priority? Or is that just a rumor?

I believe priority. Acceptances were mailed out by priority in the Early Decision round. :)

So for overseas students, when would priority mail arrive? Monday?

I don't know the delay to asia. Barnard mailed theirs priority on a Friday and they arrived in California on Monday. I don't know if that helps.

It helps : ) or at least gives me some idea. Extra waiting, that's for sure at least. Many thanks, mardad.

My friend claims he got his Yale waitlist letter like a week ago. I don't really believe this at all. He also says, "20+ kids from my school also have gotten into ivies" (he goes to a fancy CT school). Is there ANY way he's not lying to me?

I can believe the latter part. Private new england prep schools in CT such as Choate Rosemary Hall definitely send more than 20 kids to ivies every year.

I don't believe that he already got his waitlist letter already, because they only start putting up decisions today and the mail comes later.

carolinequips - maybe your friend meant 20+ kids in his school received likely letters from Ivies? That would be possible.

As for waitlist letters, I don't believe its possible for your friend to have received one. Someone faked one down at the Columbia board recently:
