<p>I have to say, the CC UA parents/students are AWESOME!!! I’m loving getting so many little questions and concerns out of the way before D even steps foot on campus. :)</p>
<p>There are advantages to staying in the dorm: increased social interaction with other parents, already being on campus when the very early morning activities begin (saving the drive time from the hotel), the fact that you and the siblings attending can come and go from the room as they want, giving you time for a quick rest, change of clothes, etc if needed. Plus you get a very good feel for the room sizes and shapes.</p>
<p>And there are advantages to a hotel: not having to tote sheets and blankets (you can pay to rent them from UA if you stay in the dorms), comfortable beds, having a TV in your room if that matters.</p>
