I know that we shouldn't count our chickens, and that we will get the dates for the revisit days in our acceptance letters, but I have been trying to find out some of them in advance, for planning purposes just in case :-)

Here is what I have found:

Hotchkiss: 3/31, 4/3, 4/7/ and 4/8

NMH: 3/27 and 4/4

What have you found? Most of the web sites don't list them.

Williston: 3/29, 4/4, 4/5 (even though I see that no one has posted publicly that they are applying here).

In summary, revisit days all seem to be the last week of March, and the first week of April, with some in the second week of April, just before decision day on April 10.

Does anyone have any other dates for revisits? Do you miss a lot if you don't go to a revisit? I mean, if I only get into one school, should I still revisit? I already know that I really like all of them and if I only got into one, shouldn't we just save the money instead of visiting? We would have to fly.

Revisits are usually a lot of fun, for prospective students and the current students themselves. You get to experience the true class experience. Some people don't revisit, but it is a really exciting and interesting experience. You get to meet a student that you can e-mail or call to talk to about anything later on, whether you attend that school or not. It may help a lot in your decision making if you are accepted into more than one, and even if you don't need to make a decision, it helps you to see what kind of a school you will be attending to help you prepare for the adjustment.

I can't imagine that it would matter all that much. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes, and look neat. Remember, if you get in, and go to a revisit day, the schools are now selling themselves to YOU. They will want to impress you so that you attend their school.

Obviously, don't wear a shirt that says something with a hate message on it.....
