jeeze, thats not true. saying hes gonna have trouble in college as well.

ahkman. i get what your saying though, but some people dont wanto open up to the people in school, especially if theyre school is somewhat trashy, and people have low standards/values.

People who went to single sex schools also start going to co-ed colleges, makes a BIG difference when you aren’t just surrounded by girls/boys ONLY all the freaking time.

How many single sex schools are there left? Military academies?

I don’t know anyone that went to a single sex school growing up, let alone know of any in the area, and have never met anyone from college who said they went to a single sex school.

i Agree with few of them,
at initial stage just hookup, and then date later : )

Freshmen year it seems like everyone is just interested in hooking up and people become more relationship oriented later in college.

Actually, my situation was a little different. I had a relationship my freshman year which I hoped was just a hookup. She kept wanted to hang out though, and even introduced me to her parents so I kinda got screwed.

Managing to somehow break up with her, I started looking for something more…erm…fleeting (which I did, but this one wants to maintain a long-distance text message relationship -.-) I think a lot of people in college who are looking for the traditional college experience also want to have at least one “hook-up.”

EDIT: fyi, I had never been in a relationship prior to college.

I am in a similar but different situation. I have never had a girlfriend. However, I have had female contact.

Here is the kicker: I have gotten many many many cellphone numbers from girls but i dont call them back. I confirmed these with another phone with *67. Over 80% of these were real numbers. Hottest girl i’ve got a number from that was real: blonde junior at USC.

I am just wondering, should i be concerned about dating? I mean, i have never gone on a date before… Also is hooking up as easy as they say? Because at the rate i get numbers, I’ll have like 20 friends with benefits considering 100% success with real phone #'s.

’ lol @ “playing the field.” You guys better just hope that you get to play at all. I have a hard time believing that CC is full of pimps. '

^ aha, how true

maybe not in the US but there are quite a few single sex schools in other countries.

Beware, many of these people saying “play the field” have probably never even touched a person of the opposite sex other than their mom/dad.

Besides, there’s nothing more satisfying than sharing your life exclusively with someone you love… Sex becomes merely a byproduct of that. That idea may seem crazy to most of you, but you’ll grow up and understand that sooner or later.

why date and get tied down lol unless its really miss Right then i aint lookin for a relationship… you got so many different types of people around college that might interest you idk maybe it jus me but im lookin to have fun

but ay if you ready for a real relationship or what not more power to you

Dating in high school is rarely that serious (I’m talking like leading into marriage). It’s fun and teaches you how to deal with romantic relationships.

For those who just want to have sex, it’s alot easier to get some with your significant other than a random person unless you have very low standards.

^^^^

Why low standards? From what i see in American Pie, alcohol is all you need.

“For those who just want to have sex, it’s alot easier to get some with your significant other than a random person unless you have very low standards.”

Holy **** thats not true

whats “your significant other”???
that doesnt make sense.

Significant Other = boyfriend/girlfriend/fiance/husband/wife/etc. Anyone you are in a relationship with.

Then thats not true!!
I agree with you_of. American Pie certainly didnt make it look like Eric got along better with the prude girl (Girlfriend) than the hot sorority girl.

… Because, yes, life is JUST like American Pie. And college is JUST like Animal House. And work? Exactly like The Office. If you watch enough television, you will know just what your like will be like.

But seriously, interestingly enough, in real life, the most promiscuous (and drunk) girls are generally not the best looking ones… hence the “low standards” comment. Most girls won’t give it up to a random drunk guy they meet at a party- even in college.

unless you got game… and of COURSE you cant go in expectin to get it from a real good lookin chick at a party after only seein them 1 time… you still gota put in some kinda work

but the whole low standard thing thats just wrong lol there are a lot of good lookin girls jus lookin to have a good time without having a boyfriend [ no strings attached ]
