Dating

How's the dating between different mids there?
Do relationships usually last?
How hard it is to date someone with all the dating rules there?

A novice has arrived. Welcome!

If you want it to work, itll work.

Interesting topic. I'm all eyes! :p

Mine was adamant in high school that he was not dating outside of his high school.
At USNA he is adamant that it won’t be another Midshipman!

^^^^^
Smart boy. :) Or should I say wise boy?

Plebes can't date upperclassmen at all and nobody can date people within their own company, but you can "love chit" out of the company at the discretion of the company officer.

Most relations fizzle given the fact that plebes have no extra time, in fact only about 2% of Midshipman maintain previous relationships from the time the entered until graduation...thus the "2% Club"

Unless you're dating Daniella Pestova don't worry about dating for a couple of years.

Good advice WPSON2010...they're too busy, too poor and too tired!

Both my roommates are dating mids. The only thing hard about it is that you can't be affectionate in front of people. Considering the relationship is legal, it's not really a big deal or troublesome.

Methinks priorities are a bit askew here....

Oh, I don't know. I thought Daniella Pestova was a good choice.

<---- Admits to being ignorant. Off to Google to see who that is.

ETA: Ah!

Yes, she would definitely be worth a Black "N" for going over the wall. :D

hmmmm......apparently not all......

Hey! I don't want to hear anything about the Thorpedo! That guy should be playing the lottery being as lucky as he is in this regard! ;)

LOL!!!! Perhaps, but he is giving his mom a lot of gray hair in the process!

But just wanted to point out that even the plebes are not in jail- they have more freedom than one might imagine....they may be poor and tired, but heck, if they set their minds to something, they certainly find the time to make things happen!

(just another reason to keep moms up late at night! )

omg we're still frickin human
