Thoughts:
- WPI is STEM/engineering focused so one of the others would probably be a better fit.
- Sounds like she would enjoy the smaller LAC approach, in which case drop UMass as well, and NEU since she doesn’t want to study abroad, UNLESS she really likes the idea of coops as NEU places a big emphasis on that.
- Brandeis, while technically not an LAC, is small enough to feel like an LAC, plus is a research university, so could be a good pick.
I agree with the recommendation of Lafayette or Brandeis, but the others are excellent options too. Congrats to your daughter for having earned the opportunity to make this choice.
