Daughter High Functioning Autism

Does anyone out there have personal experience with the autism support services at Marshall University, Western Kentucky University, University of Alabama, Texas State University and Texas Tech University? Any advice or suggestions about schools not listed?

Perhaps you will get more responses on the individual college boards.

There are many threads on this Cafe forum about what schools are helpful for kids on the spectrum, but I don’t recall mention of the schools you list.

Marshall is supposed to have good support.

Lesley University in Cambridge MA has a program I believe.

I don’t know first hand but an acquaintance of my son graduated from Marshall. I ran into his mother at a party the year after my son had graduated. She was very happy with the school and the support that her learning disabled son had received. I don’t know what her son’s disability is; the boys were best friends during elementary school but drifted apart when they went to different middle schools.

I googled colleges for high functioning autism and so much info came up that it seems better to share the link than list specifics!
