Daughter is a senior in high school, my last one :(. Anyway, she is interested in becoming a teacher like her brother however, she wants a dual degree University where she can receive both a degree in Education and one in History. Does anyone have any information on any schools that offer anything like this?

University of Rochester has a 5 year BA/M.Ed program with the Warner School of Education. It also comes with a 1/3 tuition scholarship for the 5 years. Students can choose any undergraduate major. It is highly competitive.

Almost any place that has an Education program will be able to offer her a double major, or a history major with enough education credits for a teaching certificate.

There are lots of schools of education that require their secondary school students to major in something else like history and take the masters in education in the fifth year. The way things are done these days. 3.5 years majoring in history or neuroscience or english, a semester of in-school practicum, and a year of grad school.
