<p>You did the right thing, responding to her signals…you both deserve a good night’s sleep, and tomorrow starts the next chapter.</p>

<p>DCTmom, sometimes when we do things for our kids we just know it feels “right”. This sounds like one of those times. You sound pretty relieved too.</p>
<p>Your D will ALWAYS remember that you supported her during this difficult period. I understand how you feel about coming to terms with the path her life is taking versus what you’d envisioned. I struggle with this as well. But it’s a growing up process…for everyone
