Dave Matthews Band coming to West Point

<p>Cadets and friends at West Point pulled together and won the contest to have Dave Matthews Band play at the Academy. From the DMB website:</p>

<p>US Military Academy Winner of the World's Loudest Pep Rally (10/24/2007)
We are excited to announce that the United States Military Academy is
the AT&T World's Loudest Pep Rally winner! Dave Matthews Band and
Robert Randolph and the Family Band will be performing two free concerts
on Wednesday, November 14, 2007 and Thursday, November 15, 2007 at the
Eisenhower Hall Theatre, United States Military Academy, West Point, New
York!</p>

<p>Well, big reason we won is cause cadets don’t have too much time for a social life, got plenty of time to sit at a computer and push the vote button : )</p>

<p>Congratulations to USMA for winning this contest, you deserve to have some fun and relaxation! Navy Supe has cancelled all but two pep rallies, so it wouldn’t have worked out this year in Annapolis anyway. Enjoy!</p>

<p>Hello West Point students. I was just wondering what the process is for you students to get tickets? Also do you HAVE to go? I was reading online that it is mandatory? Also, does each student get one or two tickets? Thanks! GO ARMY!!! Hopefully I will see you all at the Pep Rally. I requested ticked through Daves fan club!!</p>

<p>I don’t think we have to go becuase we have to request tickets for it too.</p>

<p>What is the vibe on campus? Are alot of people going? I was just wondering. I am a HUGE Dave fan and through his fanclub I was able to request tickets. They are only giving away tickets that your students dont take first. Hopefully I get to go!!! Do you each get one or two tickets? Thanks!</p>
