I recently got admitted into JSOM and came across the DMHP.
At first glance, it looks like a great program.
However, I just wanted to know how it stacks up against a business program such as JSOM’s.

I may be wrong but most of the people who post on this website are more familiar with the STEM majors at UTD. You might want to post this question on the UTD reddit board where I know JSOM students are active.

DMHP is a great program. The only thing I would watch out for is Polze’s BLAW honors class. The guy is personable and keeps the subject interesting.
However, he grades the class competitively. That means that even in an honors class, there will be people making Cs and Ds. Inevitably, every year, there are people who, even though they try hard, still end up at the bottom of the class and their GPAs are killed.
Depends on what you major in, you might not need/want DMHP as there are better programs, such as PPA if you do accounting.
