I hope I can get admitted from the waitlist. My stats prove that Davidson doesn’t heavily weigh test scores. Just make sure your application is fully developed.
S was accepted from Ma, 1440 sat1, 780, 780,750,sat2,all 5 on AP exams, top 2% of class of 406. 4.62 weighted GPA, Jr science book award, top science student in HS, rejected from many other top schools, so keep the faith. Waiting on 5 more, Davidson is towards the top for him. Love the school.
D17 was accepted. According to the acceptance, any possible merit notification will be “mailed” beginning late March and ending April 10. Does anyone know if this is an email versus snail mail?
I called for my son, they said they will try to get packages out within the next week. They send both email and hard copy

General Comments: I’m glad to be put on the waitlist and not taken out entirely, but I saw that they take about 14 females and 8 males (they did 2016) from the list. Following their directions and putting my deposit for another school. Thank you anyways, Davidson.
Does anyone know what Davidson’s acceptance rate was this year, divided by ED and RD? I can’t seem to find it anywhere. Thanks.
Anyone still waiting on an email with instructions on how to set up student portal to access aid info? We haven’t received anything yet.
@dreaminofvandy You should probably call and ask. My D received an e-mail with instructions on the 23rd.
I did call the Financial Aid office and they said that since both my wife and I work at another university, they wanted to make sure that our daughter didn’t have any “tuition benefits” that they could use also at Davidson. Tuition benefits are considered outside scholarships (apparently). Anyway, that shouldn’t apply to us since the tuition benefits that our employer/university gives us can only be used at that university and nowhere else. They said it would be another day or two until we get our package.
