Davidson to Grad School?

Hello,

I am currently a student with an undecided major (towards some sort of Law concentration), debating between Davidson College, Wake Forest University, Oxford College of Emory University, UCLA, and University of Michigan (Any advices or opinions about any of these schools would be greatly appreciated as well.).

One of my problems with Davidson, is that unlike the other schools, it doesn't have a grad school. ALTHOUGH NOT A PROBLEM BECAUSE IT IS AFTER ALL A LIBERAL ARTS COLLEGE, there is a disadvantage when considering that if I choose (for example) to go to U-Mich, it will be easier for me to get accepted at the U-Mich Law school when i graduate, and same thing will all of the other schools with the exception of Davidson.

Thus, I would like to know, from anyone really (student, alumni, faculty, or anyone knowledgeable on the field) if Davidson provides the ''boost'' for their students to get accepted at top notch grad school once they receive their Davidson Diploma.

This might help:

It’s Davidson’s Class of 2011 Placement in Grad school, as well as entry-level jobs.

In my experience graduate schools often have a bias against students from their undergraduate ranks. Don’t think that just because you go to Michigan or UCLA (which are both excellent institutions in their own right and worthy of your consideration) that you’re going to have an easier time gaining admission to their law or other graduate schools.

Go where you can have the best experience, get the best education, excel, have some fun and don’t come out with massive amounts of debt. If you’re headed to law school, you’re going to need your money!

Best of luck!
