FlyTowardsTheSun- ditto :(

What are your guys’ financial aid situations? Major/career plans? Planning to go to grad school? I didn’t consider Cal, but in a major like engineering, Cal would be tough to pass up. Campus preference is a huge factor though, I’d put it right after which school is a better fit academically =D

I got a little aid from davis (not too signficant) but i plan to go to grad school, and i’ve heard it doesn’t matter where you get it as long as your gpa is high. Cal is going to be really difficult to get a high gpa

btw limabean have you decided yet? :X

This is what my dad just told me:

If I go to Cal and hate it, I can probably very easily transfer to another UC (like Davis).

If I go somewhere else, ie Davis, and don’t like it, I won’t be able to transfer back to Cal.

My parents don’t think I can pass it up. So guess I’m going to Cal!

NOT that I’m planning on transferring, hopefully I will be happy where I am.

:)

wow congrats on you choosing limabean best of luck to your future endeavors at cal :D

Lima - just an FYI, I hear it’s very difficult to transfer between the UCs because spaces are usually reserved for JC/CC transfer students. But congratulations on your decision!

@limabean22: unfortunately, it doesn’t work that way at all :(

oh… oops. Well, hopefully I made the right decision anyway! That only took about 57 years!

Is this just for UC’s? What about between Cal and, say, Oregon or Washington?

Not that I"m already planning on transferring or anything!!! just curious
