Davis' Computer Science + Engineering programs?

hey i was wondering if anyone knows how good UC Davis’ Computer Science + Engineering undergraduate programs are. i’m very very interested in these programs because i’m planning to go to a UC (most likely UC Davis) to work on my computer and art, and then apply to art center of pasadena for grad school where i would pursue animation/game design. That’s what i really want to do in life so yeah. Anyone, let me know about UC Davis’ Computer Science + Engineering programs. Thanks

Kevin u seem to understand Java and C++ like a pro can u teach me?

hey robert u seem to know a lot about davis' computer science and engineering programs, go ahead please tell me ALL about the programs in such vivid, expressive, and lucid detail. =) kkplzthx.

I'm not sure how good it is or how highly ranked, but UC Davis has the largest engineering student population of all the UCs (Source: the UC Davis site, http://facts.ucdavis.edu/distinctions.lasso)

"Big in engineering: UC Davis has the largest engineering undergraduate student population in the UC system, offering the most accredited majors."

really? i didn't know that o_O...hmmm thanks

Davis has a HUGE engineering department and one of the largest engineering student populations in the UC system. Science (bio) and engineering are 2 of UC Davis's strongest and most notable fields. Davis is trying to catch up to UCSD in both science and engineering while UCI is trying to catch up to UCD in both these fields.

UCSD is another UC that has a very massive engineering department, with a ton of engineering majors offered like with Davis. They also have 3,820 students. Here's what UCSD has:

Aerospace Engineering
Bioengineering
Bioengineering: Biotechnology
Bioengineering: Premedical
Bioengineering: Bioinformatics

Collegemom, is your son or daughter majoring in engineering? What other UC's were they accepted to, and what were the reasons they chose Davis over the others?

hey for comp science....is Davis better than UCI?

Computer Science is not ranked for undergraduate.

nate cali I have a d at UCD and a s (junior in hs) interested in engineering. UCD is on his list of possible schools.
