<p>Would u rather go to Davis or SB?? I live in norcal about an hr away from davis, so its pretty close, whereas SB is like 6 hrs away i think. i got the Regents Scholarship to SB, but money wouldnt be the deciding factor. SB might me too big of a party scene for me... but i dunno. anybody else in the same situation? (i also got in SD, but dont really wanna go tthere, seems too boring, so pretty much ruled that out)</p>
<p>Its all personal preference. Do you like a beach setting or inland in a small town. For me, having that scholarship would be have the deciding factor for me…Also SB is about 3-4 hours away from norcal, not 6.</p>
<p>SB lives up to its party reputation, but that doesn’t need to be the deciding factor because you can stay away from the party scene if you wanted to (and still have a great four years). Consider what kind of setting you prefer, as calvinator aptly summarized. I have friends who live in the Hayward/San Leandro area and I think it takes them ~5-6 hours’ drive to get home. Perhaps visiting SB, if you haven’t done so already, will help with your decision.</p>

<p>Nor Cal is big area, so yes, it could take 6 hours (it does for me).</p>
