Davis vs UCSB

Its looking like I will be selecting between these two colleges now, NYU and LMU are reaches (in price, not admission). I'm probably going to do polisci, but I may switch to philosophy or double in that since I'm going to Law school after. Which school would it be easier to get a better GPA in? I would assume the same at each, but my GPA (how unfortunate its still all about a stupid number) will be critical in getting to Law at a school like UCLA law.

Davis:

Pro - By Sacramento gives internship opportunities, I got EOP, my best friend goes here, good at poli sci, almost free, start as a sophomore

Cons - Far from LA, small town feel, according to my friend the most fun thing to do is party

SB:

Pro - Close to LA (big plus, I live there), close to a beach, EOP, start as a sophomore, almost free (not as almost as davis), good social scene (connections to be made, with rich people)

Cons - Not as awesome at poli sci, big party scene, small town feel

So yeah those are my big two.

Here are the NYU pros and cons

Pro - Amazing at poli sci (social science in general), lots and lots of internships, in NYC

Cons - Far from LA, expensive, too competitive for my taste (I don't get the point), the culture may be a little weird (not sure till I visit), cold winters, I have to do their selected LSP courses.

Thanks, this is a difficult decision and narrowing it down to these 3 has been hard enough.

bump

Almost free?

ETA - Oh, gotcha.

bumpers help welp

come on guys :(

law? go to davis

but this is for undergrad

Judging by your pros and cons, go to Davis.
