<p>i go to an NYC day school right now . i prefer not to say which one, but it’s in manhattan and i’m loving it! intense workload, but my peers here are incredible. it’s all worth it !</p>
<p>Just a thought: you may get a few more responses by posting in the general forum rather than the Parents Forum. CC readership is strongly slanted toward boarding schools in any case.</p>
<p>thanks…bigcitylights if i might ask, where are you going specifically? Just wondering if you’d tell me what type of kids are at that school- maybe its mine or my sister’s school and we’d really like to hear about it…nervous a little.</p>

<p>My DD is starting middle school at a local day school in the Fall. We are fortunate to live in an area (Bay Area, CA) with wonderful private day schools. We are both looking forward to this new chapter in her life.</p>
