Im going on a day visit program soon and i was wondering what it is really like. I know that i will attended a class, but what else is involved? If any one can give me more information that would be great.

On my day visit, the girl took me to her class, we went up and had lunch in one of the upper campus dining halls, went back and saw her dorm, hung out there for a bit, and at that point my day was done.

Extremely laid back, the professor in my class (it was a Human Resources class) was really welcoming, ovearll I really enjoyed the day

Wow that's really funny because I'm going on a day visit soon too. I have no idea what to expect so I'm kinda nervous but also really excited. What day are you going?

im a day visit host, so i can answer any questions you have about day visits. basically, your host picks you up from the admissions office around 945ish that morning, then takes you to his or her class(es). you sit in on one or 2 classes, usually its just 1 class, then your host takes you to lunch at any of the dining halls. after that, you can basically do whatever, which consists of giving an informal tour to the student and then taking the student back to a dorm room.... then you can meet parents and answer questions, etc. its really fun for me as a host, and from the experiences ive had as being a host, all the prospective freshmen seemed to have an awesome time as well.
